Come and join the Hamlet of Radburne in the Western Reaches of the Shire of Dismal Fogs (Dubbo NSW) for the (rescheduled) Tourney of the Yellow Rose on Sunday 28th June 2026, in celebration of friendship.
Enter the tourney on Sunday and bring at least two items of personal heraldic display (for example: a painted shield; a banner; a torse and mantling; a tabard, surcoat or similar; a helm crest)
There will be an archery competition after a Potluck Lunch in the afternoon.
For the Tourney, a prize shall be awarded to the combatant who most exemplifies the values of courtesy and chivalry and by doing so brings the most honour and renown to themselves and or/their consort.
A prize shall be awarded for the most number of victories across the tournament.
A prize shall be awarded for the most entertaining ‘death’
There will also be a prize for the winner of the Archery competition.
We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones!
Please note: Yellow Rose Tourney is a private function rather than a public entertainment, hosted by the Hamlet of Radburne. Guests are most welcome so long as they observe our customs and wear medieval costume while attending.
