Timetable for Radburne War IV – 13th to 15th August 2010

There will be a variety of activities over the weekend for all attendees to participate in. Further details will be announced closer to the date and as numbers become known.

Everyone attending is requested to bring an item for the war chest.

All attendees will be placed in teams – number of teams will depend on bookings. Points will be awarded throughout the weekend for winning war scenarios, entering competitions and various other deeds to be announced. The team with the most points at the end of the weekend will win the items inside the war chest.

Competitions

  • Art of Random science – competition. Make something out of random items provided on the day
  • A & S competitions –
    • Awry project – Bring your most fearsome A&S disaster to compete with other projects that didn’t behave themselves. Enter early as voting will be going on all weekend. Remember to support your favorite Project gone Arwry by voting early and voting often.
      For the competition you will need to bring the project that misbehaved, provide information on what it should be, and what went wrong.
    • A Viking item – such as clothing, jewelery, pottery etc. There will be two prizes – one for ‘with documentation’ and one for ‘without documentation’
  • There will also be a prize awarded for best pageantry displayed over the weekend. This is not just for heavy fighters – archers, take your banners to the IKAC too!
  • Bardic challenge – entertain with song, tale, poem, play, musical item etc on Saturday evening after the feast.

Second clue for the treasure hunt

9:30am Armour inspection
10am War Scenarios commence
1:30pm Lunch

3rd clue for the treasure hunt

2:15pm Armour inspection
2:30pm IKAC at archery butts

Forest war scenarios commence

4pm War scenarios continue – once archery range clear bridge and fort can be used. Continue until too dark or too tired J
7pm Camp Feast

4th and final clue for treasure hunt

8:30pm Bardic challenge / singing /dancing
Sunday 15th 8:30am to 9:30am Breakfast – please note kitchen will close at 9:30am – no food will be served after this time
9:30am Armour Inspection
9:45am Combat Archer tourney
10am Heavy Tourney – Pas d’Armes
Approx 12pm Lunch at conclusion of tourney
2pm Site pack up
