Radburne has two major events each year, the Anniversary Feast and Tournament in April/May and Radburne War in August. Less formal events happen, as indicated below, on a regular basis.
Monthly Events
| Event: | Target Archery |
|---|---|
| Date: | First Sunday of each month from February to November each year. |
| Time: | From 2:00pm. |
| Location: | Dragon Hill |
| Note: | The rules for the IKAC (Inter Kingdom Archery Competition) can be found here.
All archers that have not made themselves familiar with SCA Target Archery rules should do so prior to attending. The link is here. It is the responsibility of all archers to familiarise themselves with the rules (although we will do a quick run down on the day). Please pay particular attention to the section on equipment (for those without equipment, you may be able to share with someone attending if they are agreeable). No compound bows are allowed in competition. For those wishing to participate in the IKAC please note this rule. Also please note BROADHEAD ARROWS ARE NOT ALLOWED, the same goes for any other tip that causes excessive damage to the targets. IKAC will hopefully be running each month. |
