Some new neighbours have arrived and it is time to welcome them so come and join in the fun, food, fighting and laughter!</p>

<p> <b>What you need to bring:</b></p>
<p> Garb (medieval clothing – if you don’t have any, we do have some loaner clothing. Please contact the Steward prior to the event to make arrangements and see if we have something that fits you)</p>
<p>Feasting gear (something to eat off, eat with and drink from. Again, we have loaner gear so contact the Steward prior to the event to book some!)</p>
<p>If you are camping, bring your camping gear! (Tent, bedding etc – it can get very cold at night so make sure to bring enough blankets!)</p>
<p>Don’t forget your sense of humour! The SCA is a lot of fun <img src='http://radburne.lochac.sca.org/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>If you are an SCA member, you need to bring your membership card</p>
<p>If you are an authorised fighter/marshal/or equestrian – don’t forget your authorisation card(s)</p>
<p>Armour, bows, arrows etc</p>
<p>If you have questions, don’t be afraid to ask!</p>
<p>Bring sunscreen! Even though it is the cooler part of the year, you can still burn!</p>
<p>Bring your own drinks – make sure to drink plenty of non-alcoholic fluids for your own health and safety :-) Alcohol is allowed (if you are over 18 – mundane laws apply!)</p>
<p>If you are bringing a horse/horses – please let the Steward know 2 weeks in advance so arrangements can be made (a form needs to be completed and returned prior to the event)</p>
<p>If you have any dietary requirements/allergies please let the Steward know 2 weeks in advance</p>

<li>We do have five friendly dogs on the property although we do try and keep them away from the activities. If you have allergies or are not comfortable with dogs, please let the Steward know prior to the event so arrangements can be made.</li>

<p>1. Poem or story incorporating the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse &#8211; original work<br />
2. An artistic work of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse &#8211; any medium<br />

<p>Bardic Challenge: This will be held on the Saturday evening, please let Sorle know if you intend to enter (this can be done on the day). It is tradition in Radburne to hold a Bardic Challenge at each event to provide entertainment for the evening. You can sing, dance, tell a story, riddle, poem, juggle or perform any other entertainment. Bonus points if you incorporate the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse into your performance <img src='http://radburne.lochac.sca.org/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline">Accommodation</span></p>
<p>Camping accommodation is provided on site for no charge – portaloos and a bush shower are available. There are also a number of Caravan Parks and Motels in a variety of price ranges in Dubbo, a short ten to fifteen minute drive from the site.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline">Getting Here</span></p>
<p>Dubbo is the hub of New South Wales with all major highways coming through Dubbo. You can also get the bus, train or plane! A shuttle service will be available from the train station and airport if required.</p>
<p>QANTAS and REX both fly in and out of Dubbo several times a day. The XPT train travels between Sydney and Dubbo daily.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">We have tried to provide a wide variety of foods including special dietary requirements such as gluten free (G), dairy free (D) and vegetarian (V). Where a dish is not self explanatory, the preceding codes have been used to assist you.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="page-restrict-output"><p>There will be some improvements to the Radburne Website over the coming weeks. Updates to the program we use (WordPress) means there are new features we can use to make the site even better. One improvement already is that the pages for <a title="November Crown AS XLVI" href="http://lochac.sca.org/radburne/?page_id=399">November Crown</a> are now easier to find: being in the menu bar under &#8220;Events&#8221;.</p>
<p>Other changes include a complete overhaul of the menu, and moving away from &#8216;post&#8217; style content for information that doesn&#8217;t change. The contacts page has also been complete changed so that you fill in a &#8216;form&#8217; and the website will email that for you.</p>
